Welcome to the webpage of the SCALES meetings - Stellar Clusters and clumps Across LEnsed and unlensed fields at low and high redshiftS - organized by Francesco Calura (INAF-OAS) and Cristiana Spingola (INAF-IRA).
This new series will provide a platform to discuss the latest observational and theoretical advances on:
• the formation, evolution, and role of stellar aggregates in galaxy assembly;
• results from JWST, HST, ALMA (and/or others), gravitational lensing surveys, and state-of-the-art simulations;
• the study of substructures at different scales using strong lensing as powerful cosmological probes.
Next meeting: December 16th, 2025 h14:00 (CET) **Christmas Edition**
Speaker: Pietro Bergamini - "A new era in galaxy cluster strong gravitational lensing: how JWST and Euclid are transforming the landscape"
Location: Sala Padrielli, 2nd floor of INAF - Institute for Radioastronomy, via P. Gobetti 101, 40129 Bologna
